UAL Future Creatives in St Albans
UAL Future Creatives was launched by the University of Arts London and classes run in towns and cities across the UK. One of the first creative hubs opened in St Albans, where classes take place at Sandringham School in Marshalswick. Future Creatives also run classes in Cambridge and Tonbridge in Kent.
What to expect at UAL Future Creatives
Future Creatives learners can expect a supportive environment in which to explore different art and design techniques through an assigned project. The classes enable the children to develop their skills and build their self-esteem, before graduating with a portfolio of work, plenty of new friends, and, of course, a certificate. Most of all, Future Creatives learners can expect to have fun.
The varied courses for 11-17 year olds cover many of the exam board assessment objectives for art and design such as idea development and work refinement, meaning older learners preparing for their GCSEs and A Levels will experience the added benefit of honing these core skills in a supportive environment before getting stuck in to their assessed work.
Children Explore Their Creativity
Future Creatives is a drop-off class, so your child can experience the benefits of getting messy and creative with none of the clearing-up! Expect a class where your child explores creativity and self-expression, learns new skills and builds confidence, perseverance and self-discipline.
All materials are provided for each class so you know your child will have everything they need.

Take Sarah Manning, who will be leading St Albans’ Saturday classes for 11-17 year olds – she’s got more than 20 years’ experience and teaches visual merchandising short courses at both Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion.
