intu Watford – Debenhams Beauty Hall Secrets – Review

30 June 2019 by Kirsty Leave a Comment

Life is hectic at the moment, so it’s been a couple of weeks since I went along to the V.I.B event with Debenhams and intu Watford, but there’s been such a transformation in Watford since the new shopping centre extension was opened, that I’m making the time to share the evening with you.

The Debehams at intu Watford is home to The Beauty Hall which covers the whole top floor of the store. There you’ll find more than 15 beauty counters including Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Smashbox, Too Faced, bare Minerals, Armani, Clarins, Clinque, Dior, Elemis, Kiehl’s, Benefit, Yves Saint Laurent, Lancome and Make Up Forever. There’s also a Perfumery with a great selection of fragrances and a Blow Ltd Blow Dry Bar where you can get the perfect beach wave as well as a manicure or even have your make-up done for a special event.

The make-up artist at Smashbox in Debenhams Beauty Hall recommended their Gloss Angeles Lip Gloss and I’m now rocking a new sparkly glitter pink lip gloss, perfect for summer. I couldn’t resist getting the Smashbox smooth Photo Finish Primer too… it’s like applying a portrait filter to your face! I’ve never really used a primer before but the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer feels light on my skin and my foundation glides over the primer smoothly and then stays on my face all day – even on a long hot day out with the children!

intu Watford is open for late night shopping on Thursdays and Debenhams is open until 9pm, so there’s plenty of time to browse, book a make-over session or a make-up bag update. I got some more of my new favourite Luminous Silk Foundation from Armani which I was colour-matched for at the intu Watford SS19 event. I love the smooth finish of the Luminous Silk Foundation and the fact that is light on my skin so it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing any make-up despite having great coverage.

If you haven’t been to intu Watford since the new extension opened then it’s worth re-visiting. The Debenhams Beauty Hall is HUGE and the make-up counters have an amazing range of products.

There’s also plenty at intu Watford to keep the family entertained whilst you shop, from Rock Up Watford to Hollywood Bowl.

The Debenhams Beauty Club Community Awards After Party is at Debenhams Beauty Hall at intu Watford on Thursday 4th July 2019 from 4pm, you just need to purchase a £5 ticket in advance from the Debenhams Beauty Hall till points and ticket holders will receive 15% off award winning beauty brands, 10% off ALL beauty, skincare and fragrance as well as free mini treats and masterclasses. Your £5 ticket is redeemable against any beauty purchase at the event.

intu Watford is on Queen’s Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD17 2UB

Disclosure: I was invited to the V.I.B. event at the Beauty Hall inside Debenhams at intu Watford Shopping Centre, however I purchased products with my own money because I love them that much! All the words and pictures are my own.
