Suzelie began her career in Paediatric Nursing in 2004 and worked in a variety of specialities, including Neonatal Care at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. In 2010 Suzelie gained a postgraduate diploma as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and has many years of experience working as a Health Visitor in the NHS.

Suzelie began working as a Postnatal and Early Years Consultant in Hertfordshire after seeing a change in the Health Visitor services available through the NHS. Working independently, Suzelie is able to provide continuity of care, to listen, to spend time with you and to help and support you effectively.

What can you expect?

After an initial phone call to assess your requirements, Suzelie will arrange to visit you and provide a bespoke care plan that meets your family’s needs. Consultations take place in the comfort of your own home and Suzelie offers a range of appointment times including daytimes, evenings and weekends.

Suzelie is able to offer flexible, individually tailored, professional support, from a one-off session to a more comprehensive package of care that supports you and your family throughout your child’s early years.

New Parents – Private Health Visitor in Hertfordshire

Suzelie can meet you before the birth of your baby or babies to talk you through any concerns and follow-up with post-natal sessions, as necessary, to allow you to discuss any worries or questions relating to you or your child/children. You can arrange a visit once your baby or babies arrive to go through feeding, winding, changing, bathing. Suzelie also has lots of experience supporting new parents with anxiety and/or post-natal depression and can, if needed, help families to work out what to do to make things feel better.
