World of Dinosaurs at Paradise Wildlife Park – Review

25 March 2018 by Kirsty Leave a Comment

The World of Dinosaurs at Paradise Wildlife Park is now open! You’ll find amazing animatronic dinosaurs in the woods, see them moving and hear them roaring!

HAVE A LOOK AT OUR VISIT TO THE WORLD OF DINOSAURS AT PARADISE WILDLIFE PARK

We walk through the entrance to the World of Dinosaurs and there are enormous dino footprints on the floor to guide us through a walkway of giant dinosaur teeth. Looking ahead, through the trees, we can see huge silhouettes. The World of Dinosaurs begins… we start with one of the smaller animatronic dinosaurs… a Pteranodon screeches as it flaps it’s outstretched wings.

We carry on through the World of Dinosaurs and come face-to-face with Baryonyx. The dinosaurs are behind fences but you can still get very close. We crane our necks to see the Brachiosaurus – so tall it’s head is almost in the canopy of the surrounding trees. Then there’s a small lake with an adult and a baby Plesiosaur resting on the bank.

The World of Dinosaurs is compact but it doesn’t feel small. The path takes you onto the next dinosaur and the short distances are perfect for younger visitors. We meet Triceratops and her baby. The scale of the animatronic dinosaurs is fantastic and gives a real sense of the size of the giants that once roamed the earth.

Then we come to Tyrannasaurus Rex. This dinosaur is everything you want it to be – it towers into the sky, it has huge jaws filled with razor-sharp teeth and it thrashes its head as it roars. The animatronics are really impressive and the roars and screeches are believable.

The World of Dinosaurs has a fantastic collection of over 20 animatronic dinosaurs. The Velociraptor’s are particularly convincing and all the dinosaurs have multiple moving parts, which really helps to bring them to life.

Once we left the World of Dinosaurs we were tempted onto the Rex Express. This little train was the only disappointment, as we didn’t see any dinosaurs from the train that we hadn’t seen on the trail already. At £2 per person, next time we will steer clear of the railway.

Once you have explored the World of Dinosaurs then you can venture into Paradise Wildlife Park, meet some amazing animals in the zoo and find out how you can help to ensure that they don’t become extinct. We’ve visited Paradise Wildlife Park a few times before and you can see a review of one of our days out here. It’s always been a jam-packed and fun-filled family day out but the addition of the World of Dinosaurs means that there are now even more reasons to visit.

TOP TIPS FOR A VISIT TO THE WORLD OF DINOSAURS AT PARADISE WILDLIFE PARK

  • Paradise Wildlife Park is on White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, EN10 7QA, not far from Junction 25 on the M25.
  • You can save money on your tickets if you book in advance, online.
  • Paradise Wildlife Park offer a range of Animal Experiences. If you’ve got a special occasion coming up, or you just want to make your visit really special, then take a look at what’s on and book your animal experience in advance.
  • There are plenty of picnic benches if you want to take your own food but they are mostly outdoors, so be prepared for the weather.

We received complimentary entry to Paradise Wildlife Park and the World of Dinosaurs for the purpose of the review.
