Dinosaur fans are in for a treat this Summer as Zoorassic Park opens its doors at ZSL London Zoo for a special six week exhibition from Saturday 22nd July to Sunday 3rd September 2017.
Zoorassic Park will take you back in time to a prehistoric world where you can meet the red-crested Dilophosaurus, listen to the small and agile Coelophysis calling to each other, see the Brachiosaurus towering over you and hear the Tyrannosaurus Rex roar. There’s Triceratops protecting its nest and you’ll encounter the armour-plated Edmontonia. You might even meet some more unusual dinosaurs: the Quetzalcoatlus was new to me and there’s no danger of missing this impressive pterosaur in Zoorassic Park.
The Zoorassic Park dinosaurs are incredibly detailed animatronic dinosaurs. The dinosaurs move their bodies and their heads and are accompanied by convincing roars, rumbles and screeches. Watch out as one of the dinosaurs might spit if you get too close!
Get ready for your time travel safari this Summer. Entrance to Zoorassic Park is included in your Zoo entry and there’s also a fun trail for children to complete and fossil digs to explore.
